IMPACT is a groundbreaking system that seamlessly integrates essential tools for orchestrating impactful protests within a single cohesive ecosystem, empowering organizers to focus on their message rather than logistics.

Genesis & Evolution

My UX journey began in 2018-2019 when I enrolled in a professional UX design program. While searching for a compelling final project, I witnessed a significant protest by the Ethiopian community in Israel that revealed a critical gap in organizational tools. Through immersive research with activists and organizers, the need became unmistakable—protest coordinators required an integrated ecosystem that could adapt to the fluid nature of social movements. This insight became the foundation of IMPACT.

Continuous Development

Since its initial conception in 2019, the IMPACT system has undergone remarkable transformation. Leveraging enhanced expertise and a more nuanced understanding of protest dynamics, I've reimagined the original project by incorporating sophisticated features, refining the user experience, and implementing a more resilient system architecture. Like the movements it supports, IMPACT evolves organically, continuously adapting to changing needs and incorporating feedback from real-world applications.

The wireframe design process underwent multiple iterative refinements to ensure an exceptional, friction-free user experience. Through rigorous analysis of user feedback, contextual inquiry, and comparative market research, I identified critical opportunities for enhancement and optimization. The IMPACT interface employs a sophisticated dark-mode foundation that reduces eye strain during extended planning sessions. A strategic color system features vibrant lime green accent elements against deep charcoal backgrounds, creating clear visual hierarchies that guide users through complex workflows. This high-contrast approach ensures accessibility while establishing a distinctive brand identity that feels both professional and energetic. Typography throughout the system uses a clean sans-serif font family with carefully calibrated size relationships, maintaining excellent readability across devices while communicating the appropriate level of urgency and importance for different information types.

Navigation & Information Architecture

IMPACT's user interface is structured around an intuitive multi-level navigation system that balances comprehensive functionality with cognitive clarity. The primary sidebar provides icon-based access to core modules (Home, Teams, Project Management, Analytics, etc.), while contextual secondary navigation adapts to specific tasks within each section. This modular approach allows users to quickly switch between strategic planning and tactical execution without losing context. Advanced filtering capabilities with customizable parameters enable organizers to rapidly isolate relevant information within complex datasets, while consistent placement of primary action buttons across the interface creates predictable interaction patterns that reduce learning time for new users.

Data Visualization & Interactive Elements

The system leverages sophisticated data visualization techniques to transform complex organizational information into actionable insights. Interactive dashboards provide both high-level overviews and granular details through expandable modules, while color-coded status indicators create immediate visual recognition of progress and bottlenecks. Task management views incorporate temporal elements through Gantt-style visualizations, enabling organizers to understand dependencies and allocate resources effectively.
